        The Practical life activities help children develop fine motor skills, coordination, and independence, teaching them to care for themselves, their environment, and others. Through these tasks, children learn concentration, self-discipline, and the importance of order in their lives. The activities are structured to include preliminary exercises, care of self, physical control of movement, care of indoor\/ outdoor environment, preparation of food, grace, and courtesy.<\/p>\n

        sensorial with steam<\/h3>\n

        The Sensorial area involves activities designed to refine the child\u2019s senses\u2014sight, touch, taste, hearing, and smell. The activities are structured that include discrimination of dimension, shapes, color etc., which will help children distinguish and classify sensory information, which is crucial for their cognitive development. The activities include open-ended question connected to real-world applications.<\/p>\n

        Mathematics<\/h3>\n

        The mathematics area uses concrete materials to help children grasp abstract mathematical concepts numbers, teens, Tens, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Divisions and introduction of fractions providing visual and tactile experiences.<\/p>\n

        The Cultural Studies area encompasses geography, history, science, and the arts, helping children develop an understanding of the world around them. Children are introduced to the concept of cultural diversity through activities related to different countries, languages, traditions, and ecosystems and explore on landforms, continents, weather patterns, and animal habitats through tactile maps, globes, and other visual aids to promote a sense of global awareness and respect for diversity.<\/p>\n

        Science with Technology<\/h3>\n

        Science education with STEAM is integrated into cultural studies and often involves hands-on exploration of the natural world. Children might engage in activities like planting seeds, observing plants and animals, studying the properties of materials, or conducting simple experiments using age-appropriate technology tools. These experiences encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and a love of discovery, building foundational knowledge in biology, chemistry, and physics.<\/p>\n

        Art\/ Crafts<\/h3>\n

        Art and creativity are essential components in our curriculum, to promote fine motor skills, encouraging self-expression and imaginative thinking. Children are provided with a variety of medium such as paints, crayons, clay, and musical instruments to explore their artistic abilities. We pay attention to children\u2019s observations as they portray their learning through drawings, photos, or simple written notes.<\/p>\n

        7:30 AM – 8:00 AM: Arrival & Breakfast<\/strong><\/p>\n

        8:00 AM – 8:30 AM: Free Exploration\/ Free Play<\/strong><\/p>\n

        As children arrive, they are encouraged to independently engage with the environment or children will spend time outdoors, either in a garden or playground. They can engage in free play.<\/p>\n

        This time is for the children who enrolled for the morning care programs. Materials are available for them to explore, such as puzzles, open-ended building blocks, and sensory bins prepared for the day.<\/p>\n

        8:30 AM \u2013 9:00 AM: Circle Time<\/strong><\/p>\n

        The class starts with the circle time. Children gather in a circle to discuss the day\u2019s schedule, share observations about the weather, dresses, calendar, engage in a short group discussion or story telling about the exciting things to learn on that day. Encourage the children to observe the changes.<\/p>\n

        9:00 AM \u2013 10:30 AM: Independent Work Period \/ Small group<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Children have the freedom to choose their work from the prepared environment for practical life skills, math, language, science, or sensory activities. Teachers offer guidance as needed but allow children to explore at their own pace.<\/p>\n

        10:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Snack & Social Time<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Children wash their hands and sit down for a snack. This is a time for children to practice self-care, serve themselves and engagement. Children also practice grace and courtesy by sharing and respecting one another during snack time. Children will focus on science and mathematics concept during snack time.<\/p>\n

        11:30 AM – 12:30 AM: Group Work or Collaborative STEAM Project<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Children work on a collaborative STEAM project, either in small groups or as a whole class. This could be a structured activity or an open-ended design challenge.  Activities on Mathematics, Science or sensory(engineering) will be given to the groups. We will have a discussion on the open-ended questions and observations.<\/p>\n

        Afternoon Schedule<\/h2>\n

        12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Children sit down for lunch in a calm, social environment. They practice self-care, such as serving their own food, using utensils, and cleaning up afterward.<\/p>\n

        1:00 PM – 2:30 PM: Nap Time\/Quiet Time<\/strong><\/p>\n

        After lunch, children are encouraged to rest or engage in quiet, calming activities like looking at books, drawing, or listening to soft music. This provides a much-needed break for relaxation and recharging.<\/p>\n

        2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Free Exploration or Individual\/ Group Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n

        This period is reserved for deep, hands-on exploration. Children may participate in a group activity or project, which could be focused on science, art, or a collaborative building project.<\/p>\n

        They are encouraged to independently engage with the environment. Materials are available for them to explore, such as puzzles, open-ended building blocks, and sensory bins prepared for the day.\u00a0 It may include art\/ craft to express their observations and their learning.<\/p>\n

        3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Snack Time<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \u00a0<\/strong>4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Outdoor Play<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Children spend time outdoors, either in a garden or playground. They can engage in free play, explore nature, or work on group projects with outdoor materials or structured games or sensorial play.<\/p>\n

        \u00a0<\/strong>5:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Closing Circle, Snack, Cleanup<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Children are encouraged to clean up their materials and reflect on the day\u2019s work. They can share what they enjoyed, what they learned, and how they solved problems during the day. Discussing the tools and measurements used during the day\u2019s activities and discussing what worked well and what challenges they faced. The classroom activities are closed at 5:30 PM.<\/p>\n

        Children spend time outdoors, either in a garden or playground. They can engage in free play. This time is for the children who enrolled for the extended care programs.<\/p>\n
